We are delighted to announce that for a seventh consecutive year, the Hellenic Energy Regulation Institute (HERI) is organising its prominent international scientific conference on European Energy Law and Policy entitled “Τhe 7th Athens Conference on European Energy Law and Policy: Scientific Challenges on the way to the Energy Transition”. This year, the conference will be a joint initiative of HERI, the German Institute for Energy and Regulation (Institute für Energie und Regulierungsrecht) and the Research Group for Natural Resources Law, Environmental Law and Development Law of the University of Bergen (UiB).
The Conference will be held virtually on Thursday, December 14, 2023 and it will cover topics such as the hydrogen and renewable gas policy, developments in the field of electricity storage, the role of energy aggregators in the new regulatory framework and the upcoming changes in the re-design of the EU electricity market.
Every year, the Athens Conference on EU Energy Law & Policy attracts the attention and active participation of major energy players as well as prominent academics and sector experts from the European and international community. The conference cultivates a constructive dialogue and constitutes a leading forum for the exchange of opinions in the field of European energy law and regulation.
